ARE YOU NEW TO THE WORD CHURCH?  

DO YOU WANT TO GET MORE INVOLVED?

Join us for 4 weeks where you'll hear the vision of our church, develop spiritual health, discover your gifts, and be a part of the lead team! Classes will be held after each service in the education building.

Step 1 / VISION: 

This class is a basic introduction to the heart & soul of The Word Church. We will jump into what we feel like our purpose is, our vision for today and hope for the future. Class takes place the first Sunday of the month.

Step 2 / ESSENTIALS: 

This class guides you through the essential beliefs every Christian needs to find success in your walk with Christ. Class takes place on the second Sunday of every month.

Step 3 / DISCOVERY: 

We want to help you realize what makes you so unique. This class will help you discover your personality, gifts, and purpose in life and see how God combines them for the best fit in ministry. Class takes place on the third Sunday of every month.

Step 4 / LEAD TEAM: 

Attend an orientation or training session in the ministry area of your choice to learn more about how to be involved. This class takes place on the fourth Sunday of every month. The Growth Course is complete when you join or start a ministry team.

BAPTISM:

Baptism is an important step of obedience that shows others we have personally trusted Jesus for our salvation. Jesus was baptized when he was on the earth, and we do this to follow His example. When Christians are baptized, they are submerged under water to identify with the death and burial of Jesus and raise out of the water to identify with His resurrection. In baptism we are publicly declaring three important things: you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you are beginning a changed life in Christ, and you are part of a new family.
