As most people know, California is going through one of the worst droughts in it’s history. 2014 was the driest weather in California in the last 500 years!
The lack of rain has drastically affected our City of Stockton community and the families that rely on the crops that support them financially. The drought has not only affected our local community but it has made the resources that are available to the rest of the country and the world sparse to none existent.
As Christians we know that our best answer to any problem is PRAYER!
California is in need of Prayer!
Why Pray for Rain?
"...Again he prayed, and the heavens gave rain, and the earth produced its crops." James 5:18
“Ask the Lord for rain in the time of the latter rain. The Lord will make flashing clouds; He will give them showers of rain, grass in the field for everyone.” Zech. 10:1
“If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chron. 7:14
Why United Prayer?
“Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” Matt. 18:19, 20
